Libertà districtThe accommodation is a short walk from the historic centre and the main attractions: the Petruzzelli Theatre, the Cathedral of San Sabino and the famous Basilica of San Nicola can be reached in about 15–20 minutes on foot (about 1.3–1.5 km). The Swabian Castle and the historic squares of Bari Vecchia are also easy to reach on foot, as are the shopping streets and the bars and restaurants of the city centre.

The apartment is a few steps from the centre, with a bus stop nearby. There is also a supermarket and a great bakery right in front. The owner is very kind. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need. When I arrived I found yogurt, water, beer, toast, jam and honey in the fridge: breakfast was already waiting for me! It's a clean and comfortable apartment.
Valentina's place is perfectly located, a stone's throw from the centre with every kind of service right below the house; it is very well kept, with details that make it feel comfortable and homely, the spaces are well organised, the rooms are very large and the bed is comfortable; we found plenty of things for preparing meals and breakfast, the bathroom had everything including a hair straightener, and there is also a washing machine, iron and drying rack; the air conditioners worked perfectly in both rooms and the windows are very well insulated — no noise from outside despite the central location. There is no parking at the property, but there are two private car parks within 150 metres, one right in front of the house and one at the end of the street towards the sea (our choice, as it cost a third of the other). Valentina is always reachable and happy to help with any request…
Cleanliness, location and services are top — for a travelling couple the apartment was better than a 4-star hotel. Check-in and check-out are quick and easy, and Valentina answers any request quickly on WhatsApp. A comfortable place in a lively area full of services and well connected to the centre of Bari: very comfortable bed, very fast wi-fi, good soundproofing, everything tidy and a fully equipped kitchen. Lovely balconies. We would definitely like to come back, given the excellent value for money.
